Prepare to be enchanted every day by this truly unique and stunning cliff-top location designed by local architect Mario Martins.  It is perfectly located near the historic city of Lagos and allows direct access to the beautiful beach Praia do Canavial.  This light-filled space houses artwork by Luis Bujalance and photography by Joao Mariano.

The week is full of activities that will help you grow spiritually, physically, and mentally.  Personal exploration combined with invigorating activities will have you feeling refreshed and revitalized by the end of the week.  From intimate gatherings to great adventures, you will return home with new friendships, treasurable moments and memories.  And, more than a few great pictures!

Vineyard tour and wine tasting with lunch

Enjoy lunch under a 2000-year-old tree over looking old Negramole vines at Morgado do Quintao estate.  You will enjoy a simple but tasty three-course mealpaired with 3-4 wines before coffee and a leisurely tour of the estate while the vineyard manager delights us with the history of Algarve’s landmark vineyard estate.

Kayaking the beautiful grottos

Explore the beauty of Lagos from the sea. We will be taken by catamaran to the beautiful Ponta da Piedade, a series of highly weathered cliffs that form the southern headland of Lagos. By kayak we will explore the stone arches, grottos and sea caves that the powerful Atlantic Ocean has chiseled into the colorful golden cliffs.

Daily morning yoga with Toni

Each day of the retreat, begins with an active yoga practice to prepare the body and mind for a day of exploring and enhancing your wellness. The classes will be designed to compliment your level of ability and experience. All mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets are provided so it is not necessary to bring your own.

Throughout the week we will have workshops on cooking ancestral foods, understanding your genes and how they affect your health, the best methods for physical and emotional detox, healthy sugar management, helpful practices for restorative sleep and mindfulness practices.

In a relaxed way, you will meet the urban evolution of the area and the importance of this town in World history. Learning the history, stories, myths, economy and society. You will look to Lagos with a completely new perspective.

Enjoy fresh and delicious local cuisine that nourishes the body and the soul.  Each day will begin with leisurely coffee, tea and a hearty in-home breakfast.  For lunch, we will visit three local restaurants, a winery and dine at home by the pool.  For a special treat, on two evenings, we will have local chefs visit and prepare food with wine pairings that represent the Algarve region.  And, because we all need a little time out in the evenings, we will dine out at two picturesque restaurants to get a feel for nightlife in the region.

Toni Fairman is an energy healer, nutritionist, yoga teacher, blogger, public speaker and founder of tonifairman.com

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a Certified GAPS™ Practitioner she supports her clients in resolving chronic health and behavior issues so they can live a life of freedom and realize their full potential.

Additionally, Toni has found that the path to health isn’t only about nutrition, but is also about our emotions and beliefs. She incorporates her special gift for relieving emotional distress, which, as everyone knows, can wreak havoc on someone’s physical health, into her work. In a recent interview with a doctor, she was touted as the ‘Mary Poppins’ of energy work.

She organizes luxury wellness retreats that energize and shift her guests into a new way of thinking and living.

Gwen Krieger is a Functional Medicine Health Coach, a Nutritional Therapist, certified GAPS Practitioner and certified Lifestyle Educator.

Her mission is to educate, support and empower people to implement lifestyle interventions that support energy, vitality, and excellent health.

Gwen engages clients in a fun and interactive process that teaches them how to implement healthy lifestyle choices that will support healthy gene expression and provide the foundation needed for excellent health and wellbeing while supporting each person’s biochemical individuality.

She does not ascribe to the “one size fits all” approach to dietary choices. Gwen helps to guide clients with a personalized plan for optimum health by addressing the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
